Why was my order being reviewed for quality then rejected?

RapidSSL’s authentication engine is programmed to automatically flag certain types of orders for a quality review before issuance. This system of checks ensures no fraudulent orders are issued.

For example orders from certain countries may get reviewed, or orders with certain defined terms or similarities with well known company names may trigger the review.

If the name  “ACME” is a defined term in the RapidSSL authentication engine, then a certificate for “macmermaidtest.com” will be flagged for quality review prior to issuance.
