RapidSSL Security Center Upgrades 

Enrolling and managing your certificates just got a lot easier with the improvements we’ve made to the RapidSSL Security Center. 

RapidSSL’ s new web console features help make the task of managing your SSL/TLS certificates much easier.

In RapidSSL Security Center, you can now:

  • Password protect your account for higher level of security
  • Manage all of your RapidSSL certificates from one account 
  • Purchase, renew, and replace certificates more efficiently
  • Download and install certificates in minutes
  • Access SSL/TLS tools for easier installation

Password Security for your Account

RapidSSL Security Center now provides password-protected access to your account so you can manage all of your certificates from one secure console. 
 

  • To create your account, go to RapidSSL Security Center. 
  • To transfer a certificate into a RapidSSL Security Center account:
     
  1. Search for your certificate details by order number or common name.
  2. Click on the button to renew or reissue your certificate. 
  3. Create a new RapidSSL Security Center account.
  4. Proceed with the renewal or reissue order.

Starting in June 2016, all RapidSSL certificate requests must be placed through the new RapidSSL Security Center.
 

Streamlined Certificate Enrollment and Issuance

Easier enrollment: Purchasing, renewing, and replacing certificates is now faster and easier in RapidSSL. Simply enter your website, company, contact, and payment details, and you even can submit the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) later. 

We can save your company and contact details so that you don’t have to enter them again for future orders.

Faster-issuance: Authentication starts as soon as you complete your enrollment. We've automated key elements of our authentication process, which means faster authentication, and faster issuance.
 

Simplified SSL Certificate Management 

Managing your certificates is critical to maintaining your web site security. That's why we include a robust web-based SSL certificate management console with your SSL certificate purchase! 

In RapidSSL Security Center you can purchase, renew, reissue, and manage all your certificates in one place. Easily see certificate details, and be aware of any actions you might need to take on certificates.
